Long time no blog :/
I have been back from nationals for a few weeks and still haven't completely unpacked! I had a great time and spent a great week with some of America's most accomplished women. I made some lifelong friends and I will cherish my experience. There is nothing like going to a national pageant and knowing that it is up to you to represent your state. I hope I made everyone proud. Shout out to my ladies and nationals esp Deanna! You made my week a great one! I also need to say "Thank you" to the trouble makers....you know who you are :D
Coming back from nationals, I feel like I have been on detox....from earrings, heels, and make-up. Slowly I am bringing these things back into my life! I also feel like I haven't slowed down at all, this week it finally caught up with me. I had a terrible sinus infection, plus we are trying to get ready for our new addition. So many things to do, but that is the job of a state titleholder!
Since I have been back I have had the opportunity to participate in a pageant boot camp and I really enjoyed it. There are so many things that I have learned over the years competing that I forget that not everyone knows. It was great to be able to help people prepare for their state pageants, knowing I am helping them on the road to achieving their dreams as I have mine.
In closing, I want to let you all know that I will be in Huntington next weekend for the Huntington Against Hunger event! I hope to see you all on the 19th at the Marshall University Softball field to help the area food banks restock on their goods!
