So I have seen this commercial on TV quite a few times here in the last month and I really love the message.  It is a message from the CDC and it is a man talking about smoking and how he never thought that smoking would give him a heart attack, prevent him from playing with his kids, or would leave a scar on his chest 6 inches long.  I think that commercial speaks volumes!  Smoking is a HUGE risk factor for heart disease.  I understand that it is a very hard habit to stop and in WV 1 in 3 teens are tobacco users.  WV is one of the only states in the past ten years that has had a steady rate of tobacco use as opposed declining like most states. 

The number 1 killer in WV is heart disease.  Heart disease kills more people than the next three leading causes of death which include all types of cancer, respiratory illness, and Alzheimer's.  Imagine how this could change if tobacco use in the state could be reduced!
